Conveniently located in downtown Bellevue, Baby Pictures provides expectant parents (and their
family members, if so desired) with state-of-the-art ultrasound imaging
in a relaxing and convenient setting.All Baby Pictures ultrasounds are done by Melissa Dachs (RT, RDMS, RVT), a professional, licensed sonographer with more than 18 years of ultrasound experience and over 25 years of medical experience. She started this business after noticing that insurance companies were only paying for one prenatal ultrasound whereas most people wanted more chances to view their baby and also to receive DVDs, pictures and to find out the gender of their unborn child. They also wanted to bring families into the room with them and many hospitals simply could not accommodate this so she decided to do something about it. 
In 1993, Melissa established Baby Pictures Ultrasound with a 2-D imaging
machine. When the 3-D technology came out in 1999, she was the
first in the state to get the new machine and even had one
of the first production serial numbers on her machine. She came to
find out that she was the first person in the country
to use the 3-D imaging machine for parents to see their unborn baby
in a relaxed setting.In 2002, she upgraded to the new 4-D technology which is 3-D imaging with real time image updates. There are many who have copied her lead, but why not come to the leader? She has turned her passion for ultrasound into a business that brings joy to expectant parents and their families. What could be better than that? |
